LEBRON JAMES in Warner Bros. Pictures’ animated/live-action adventure “SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.
We grew up with MJ on the courts, in the headlines and on TV and then Space Jam graced the screens in 1996 and became one of the most iconic movies of the 90s. Seeing the GOAT of athletes on the big screen with your favourite cartoon characters made for an instant classic and now Space Jam, A New Legacy brings back the classic with this generation’s GOAT.

The story line is pretty similar to the original and it’s exactly what we wanted without trying to reinvent the wheel. Nostalgia is the word for this movie, with subtle hints of Warner Brother’s history in the movie and a lot of funny references, encapsulating what was beloved about the original. Watching Space Jam makes for a feeling of nostalgia, ensuring that everyone in the audience felt like kids again and for those two hours it was nice to be reminded of what it was like to be a kid in front of the big screen again.

Being one of the world’s most iconic athlete’s, Lebron James was the perfect NBA player for the movie. His charisma and profile brought a new dimension to the Space Jam movies and his acting skills weren’t half bad either. The movie itself focuses on the story of the bond between father and son, staying true to yourself and of course friendship. It was witty and clever, it even featured MJ, although not the Michael Jordan we’d all expected. Of course the Tunes can’t be forgotten and were in all their looney tune glory with jokes that had the audience laughing. Zendaya voiced Lola Bunny and perfectly captured her spirit.

We thoroughly enjoyed Space Jam, A New Legacy and would recommend it to anyone in the mood for a trip down memory lane with a vibrant new twist.”
