CHRISTMAS 2024 MOST WANTED | THE BASE

Life is all about balance. So is Christmas – this year I’ll be picking up plenty of small, thoughtful gifts – but there are also a couple of amazing gifts hidden away that I just can’t wait to see opened. Here’s my roundup of what’s at the top of the wish list for adults, kids and teens this year.

Tech rules the roost again, no matter the age. Younger kids are still super-keen on the Nintendo Switch while the Playstation 5 Pro is the hot ticket for teens and adults. Fitness tech is also high on the list along with STEAM tech for the kids that is educational as well as fun. Treat your music lover with headphones, speakers or even a new musical instrument.

Tents and outdoor adventure gear is high on the list for those heading away over the summer break for a traditional camping holiday. For the kids and teens, wheels (powered and unpowered) are the name of the game while pools, waterslides and playground equipment never goes out of style.

There are some gorgeous beauty and fragrance sets out this year! In addition to making great gifts, they’re often great value, so I’ll be stocking up for myself too. Select variations on existing favourites to treat them with something new that you know they’ll love.

Like beauty, there are some beautiful limited edition Christmas grooming sets out that will continue to sparkle all year. Quality straighteners, hair dryers and tongs really make a difference while giving the man in your life a close shave every day will be a treat for you both.

To get the perfect fit, snoop around to find ring sizes, colour and style preferences and the pieces they’ve admired but left behind. For accessories, pick up their favourite colours or brands – or treat them with a voucher to their favourite store for 100% success.
