The weather has been tossing us some curveballs of late. I don’t know about you, but when it’s really lousy weather, I like to either hunker down with a good book, cook up a storm, or head for the shops braving the elements as I go.  The latter has seemed like a good idea of late as it’s an opportunity to shop with Christmas festivities in mind, and right now it’s an excellent time to make the most of sales (the words Black and Friday are getting bandied about a bit of late.)

Like me, you’ve probably noticed a few festive decorations adorning peoples’ rooftops, and shop fronts already. Social media posts alert me to the fact that some friends have their trees up already. And hence, this blog includes a few Christmas-focused items like the placemats (there’s quite an array), the wreath /garland (there’s also a similar swag and other wreath options) and that gorgeous, magical looking tree. I feel if I had such a tree of light, it may not get packed away after Christmas!
